Visitor Information
BOOKINGS
To book tickets to any of our events you can;
- Call in to the centre (see "Box Office Hours" below) - we accept cash, Eftpos, Mastercard, Bankcard, Visa and Personal Cheques (clearance of 5 working days is required)
- Visit one of our Ticketmaster Outlets - Myer Hobart, Myer Launceston or the Bellerive Oval
- Book online via the Ticketmaster website (you will require a credit card)
Group booking enquiries (see "Group Bookings" below) can be made direct to our Box Office staff on 03 6273 0233.
Please note: If you are booking tickets for guests requiring wheelchair seating or who have impaired vision you may only book direct with the Derwent Entertainment Centre, and these requirements must be mentioned at the time of making the booking.
BOX OFFICE
The Box Office is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (excluding Public Holidays) however if an event is scheduled outside these hours the Box Office will open 2 hours prior to showtime.
The Box Office is located in the foyer to the left of the main entrance doors.
CHILDREN
Unless stipulated by the promoter, children 2 and under are admitted free to events at the Derwent Entertainment Centre if nursed on a paying adults lap.
GROUP BOOKINGS
The Derwent Entertainment Centre offers incentives for group bookings which may include reduced ticket prices, preferential seating and pre-public sale bookings. Terms and conditions for each event will vary. By registering with us you can receive information "hot off the press" about new events.
All group bookings and enquiries must be directed to the centre on 03 6273 0233. If you are booking tickets for guests requiring wheelchair seating or who have impaired vision these requirements must be mentioned at the time of making the booking.
Privacy Policy
Group booking contact details may be used to keep you informed of future events at the Derwent Entertainment Centre. If you do not wish to receive this information, please advise ticketing staff at the time of purchase.
LATECOMERS
For the majority of events latecomers may enter at any time, however this policy may alter according to the event.
PARKING
The Derwent Entertainment Centre has car parking available for up to 1,400 cars and 9 buses.
Access to the centre is available via the main intersection on the Brooker Highway.
There is a $2.00 parking fee payable on entry to all ticketed concerts. This fee does not apply to exhibitions, conferences or dinners held at the venue.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Buses depart from the Elizabeth Mall in Hobart - Bus stop H - and stop along the Brooker Highway, it is then a short walk from the bus stop to the Centre.
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the venue.
